Makeup Revolution do some of the best eye shadow palettes at the drugstore in my opinion, so I was so excited when I saw this beautiful palette within the new display at Superdrug. It’s also in collaboration with the famous BritishBeautyBlogger so I had high expectations with this palette.
The packaging is super pretty and luxe looking, gold and black with a generous sized mirror. The 30 colours inside come with a slip of the names of the shades, as well as a double ended brush. I’m going to get straight into showing you the swatches of each line then let you know how they perform.

The palette contains a mixture of mattes, shimmers and some marbled shadows. I feel as though some of the shades are better than others, mainly I found that the shimmers came up more intense than the mattes did. However, the mattes were relatively easy to blend on the eyelid. I was really impressed by the marbled shadows, they’re really metallic and gorgeous. But, you may want to bare in mind that the shadows are quite powdery and there is quite a lot of fallout. If a primer is used, these shadows last really well. However, what I love most about this palette is how versatile it is, I’ve been testing it out for a couple of days and have created so many different looks with it. It’s a great beginners palette as it contains all the neutrals you need, as well as some fun pops of colour. It’s also fab if you struggle with pairing shadows together as this palette has clear colour families placed together.
On the whole, I’m glad I bought this and will get a lot of use out of it. Worth picking up? Yes, for just £9.99 and the amount of product you get, it is totally worth it.
