It’s that time again! Monthly favourites! I have been loving changing up my make up routine as we go into Summer and these are the products I have been using and loving.
If you’ve read my review on this product you will know I love this product so much. Nothing has changed since I wrote that review so if you want more details on it then click here. But, long story short it’s a gorgeous tinted moisturiser that blends best using your fingertips, leaving a dewy finish. This is perfect if you’re in a hurry because the application is so quick.
I know this is another complexion product but I had to give this a mention as it looks so stunning on the skin. Cushion foundations are everywhere at the moment so I had to see what the hype was about. The product comes with a sponge pad that you use to pat the product into your skin and you don’t have to do too much blending with this foundation. Like the Urban Decay one, it leaves a similar glowy finish, with light coverage. However, you can build this foundation to a medium coverage. You look like you’re not wearing any foundation as it’s so natural but your skin looks flawless and looks as if it’s glowing from within.
In the month of May I made my first Kiko order and this is one of my favourite products that I got from the bunch that I ordered. It has 3 blocks of colour, a peachy shade, a mauve and a coral. You can dip your brush into particular shades but my favourite way to wear this is by blending all 3 shades together. Blended together, it creates a warm peachy glow, with golden undertones and it just looks so flattering on the skin. The formula is very pigmented but also very easy to blend.
Another favourite from the Kiko order was this eye shadow primer. I’m quite lazy when it comes to priming my eyes, but when I do take that extra step this is the primer I have been using and it’s made such a difference to the longevity of my eye make up. The product has a slight skin tone tint, so it covers any veins or redness on the eyelid as well. Shadows applied over the primer also glide a lot smoother and appear more vibrant. Definitely worth a purchase as this is so affordable as well.
The Mac lipstick in ‘chatterbox’ is sooo lovely! It’s a bright pink with a warm undertone that brightens up your complexion. I like to pair this with that Kiko blush and lots of mascara. Amplified finishes are also my favourite finish from Mac as they’re so creamy but crazy pigmented, leaving an intense coverage on the lips without feeling drying or flaky.
Not a make up product but Dry Shampoo has saved my life this month! I’ve been reaching for this tons as it refreshes your hair perfectly but your hair doesn’t feel dry or stiff. The ‘brunette’ version is also my favourite as it blends a lot better into your hair with less effort than the scented ones that spray out white.
So that pretty much sums up all my favourite products of the month, thank you for reading!
