Ways to GLOW: MUR Ultra Strobe Cream

Whilst browsing the Superdrug shelves, my eyes were drawn to this ‘Ultra Strobe Cream‘ by the super affordable brand, Make Up Revolution. I knew I had to try it out and include it in this, ‘Ways to GLOW’ series.

It’s a similar concept to the last glowy product I reviewed (Lush Skin Tint) in the sense that it’s a creamy product that can be used on specific areas to highlight as well as all over the face for an all over glow. The formula on this one is slightly thicker and more rich in consistency which makes it slightly more moisturising on the skin. The cream retails for £8.00 and comes in a squeezy tube. I’d say my favourite way to use this is all over the face mixed in with my primer. However, this product is actually really useful for mixing in with foundation to lighten it up or to change the finish slightly. For instance, this works perfect with my ‘Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation‘ as the shade is slightly too dark for me. As well as this, as much as I love the coverage, it is too heavy for my dry skin so this cream thins out the formula so as I can wear the foundation much easier. It’s also really pretty on the tops of the cheekbones to give a natural, subtle highlight that lasts a decent amount of time on the skin. I’ve found this product works best when blended with your fingers.

So, this is a brilliant multi-use product to have in your make up collection and with such an affordable price tag, deffo one I would recommend.

I don’t think you need both the Lush Skin Tint and this one. If I had to choose?  Probably the MUR one has it just moisturises my skin more and has more purposes in my opinion.
