MAC Lipstick collection | August 2016

MAC lipsticks are my favourite lipsticks ever, they are worth all the hype they get in my opinion and I love collecting them. However, I don’t have the biggest collection in the world but I reached my tenth one recently so thought I’d show you each shade I own on the lips.

Starting with the lightest one…

Creme Cup | Cremesheen

Light pink with a glossy finish. I love how creamy this lipstick is and the colour is a perfect light nude on me. One of my favourites as it is so easy to wear.

 

Mehr | Matte

Mehr is a deep pink, with a blue undertone. Most of the matte formulas I’ve tried from mac are comfortable to wear and glide on smoothly.

 

Please Me | Matte

Paler than mehr, this is a pinky nude. Really pretty, goes with loads of different make up looks. First mac lipstick I ever owned.

 

Velvet Teddy | Matte

Classic mac shade, deffo one that bloggers made me buy! Beautiful deep brown nude with a warm undertone. On deeper skin tones, this would be a perfect nude colour.

 

Craving | Amplified

Deep pink with plum undertone. Amplified finishes are my favourite as they’re so creamy and pigmented, lasting so long on the lips. This is a gorgeous colour as well.

 

Chatterbox | Amplified

Bright pink with creamy finish. This is my go to bold lip.

 

Vegas Volt | Amplified

Bright coral, with an orange undertone. Such a perfect colour for summer.

 

Call the hairdresser | Lustre

Limited edition subtle red colour that actually broke! I cant use this lipstick properly anymore which really sucks because it was such a beautiful colour. The lustre finish is more sheer, but leaves a lovely glossy finish which I like.

Lady Danger | Matte

My most recent one, a gorgeous orange-toned red, I love this lipstick with simple eyes and bronzed cheeks. Lasts a long time on the lips, but not drying at all.

 

Russian Red | Matte

This is the only matte by Mac that just doesn’t work for me. I can’t wear this for long periods as its just way too drying. It’s a beautiful deep red colour but it’s just not comfortable to wear which is a shame.
