Another glowy product I am reviewing for you is this clay mask from L’Oreal. It came out fairly recently along with 2 other masks: Detox & Purity. But of course, me being me, I was drawn to the one saying ‘glow’. The product is in a cute little pot and the main focus of this mask if that it will brighten and exfoliate.
The mask claims to have 3 clays: Koalin (absorbs impurities), Montmorillonite (eliminates imperfections) and Ghassoul (helps clarify complexion). You are instructed to apply a thin layer for 5-10 minutes. I have been using this 1-2 times a week for a few weeks for about 8 minutes a time. When I first felt the product, I was so surprised that there’s actual beads within this product to exfoliate your skin and then the red algae in the product is what brightens your complexion. I knew this would be right up my alley and I do really like it. I think its really easy to apply as well as get off after use. The exfoliating beads do not feel harsh or rough on the ski and immediately, I feel as though my skin is a lot smoother and application of make up is a lot easier. It does give a more revived, brighter and healthy looking complexion after you use it. My skin feels firmer and tighter for about a day or so. However, I haven’t found there is a long term difference. I’d probably have to use it more than twice a week for it to truly change the way my skin feels on a long term basis. However, I can overlook this as you can see how the different clays within the mask have given me benefits to my skin. The 3 clays I mentioned do help to clarify and reduce impurities throughout the face.
For just £5 its an absoulte steal and one I would defintleu recommend!!
